There are free ways to start your blog. However, by paying the $3 a month on Bluehost, it allowed me to run my own advertisements, affiliate links, and direct advertising. You will want to use this option if are doing this to earn passive income.

- First, you will select a name for your blog. This is your “domain name”. If you sign up using the link above and get the annual plan, you will get your domain for free. I highly recommend getting the 12 month hosting plan through Bluehost. It’s cheap and you use the blog for several sources of passive income!
- You can just get the cheapest plan to start your blog. Choose the “Basic” plan. This is really all you need to get started. The basic plan is under $3 for a whole month!
